so here goes my marriage again. it started a few weeks ago, at my mother in laws house , when I was coming off the zith, feeling like death wamred over. and mother in law says "Let me know what you want to do for John's birthday", it's the 23rd. well, I can barely get thru day to day, so yesterday I decide, fine, we'll have cake and ice cream today at 3. of course, mother in law shows up late, even though it was her freakin idea. secondly, my father in law is always complaining of being broke, they didn't even get me anything for my birthday, even though we spend who knows what on him and johns step mom, even though WE CAN"T AFFORD it, so he get's John an $8 book, that I JUST picked up for him for Christmas. ok fine, well then they start playing cards, and his dad has enough money to shell out to bet on cards, then he sits here and tells me how he's betting on football games.

so my big mouth opens and said something to John that I'm so tired of them crying poor, but yet the man drinks his beers all the time, they go out to breakfast every week, he goes golfing, and do major things for the other granddaughter, and he has money to bet on card games and football games, it gets old.

and his mom does the same with the other grand daughter, takes her to the movies, at $30 pop, and does NOTHING for my kids, she always want s to see them, but then spends NO time with them, she's one of thse people who wants to be able to go into work and brag like she's grandma of the year.

So hubby just said to me "well thank you for my birthday party even though you hate my family" so a fight is brewing. I said I don't hate them it just gets irritating.

mother in law wants to go bowling with us tomorrow, as htough we want to drive all the way out there, I'm sure she won't pay, and we are so broke it's not even funny, I have a dentist appt in the afternoon for 2 crowns, possibly one root canal and a cavity. whatever. I'm so tired of doing for people and getting the shaft.

It's happening with all my so called 3d friends too, they are all screwing me over, and I'm getting tired of it. it's all hitting at the same time.

I just hate that I'm the bad person when it comes to huby's family, sometimes he totally sees it, and gets it, but now I'm the b#tch....I really don't think I'm wrong,...guess I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on, no matter what I say or do for them it doesn't matter. His mom is so fake, but it's not the kind of fake most can see, but I can see right thru her, a lousy gift to have.

so now kids and hubby are off work and school for 2 miserable weeks, this is going to be just wonderful. I'm in so much pain it's not funny, not to mention everything else giong on in my body, they really don't give a care in the world, just sick of it all. so now here comes the depression.

urgent prayers needed. an old friend of mine, she married my old highschool buddy, then divorced a few years later, we fell out of touch, she just felt wierd, even though she and I had become good friends and our kids were growing up together, but anyhow, thier home caught on fire friday night at her daughters 5th bday party. didn't burn down all the way, but everything is ruined. She is staying with her ex in laws right now, but please send out prayers in a big way for her and the 3 kids. They've had a very rough life. I called her in laws (who were my surrogate parents in a way, we were all very close) and asked if there was anything we could do, I said I started a prayer chain, but if I can help out with clothes, or toys or anything to let me know.
please keep them in your prayers, what an aweful thing, espcially this time of year.
thank you.

Oh Jaime - I hope they have good home owners insurance. My sister's house when it burned down, covered EVERYTHING and still is from their clothing to renting a house to food even! Makes me want to up my coverage for sure.

Prayers already said - I also pray they had a great insurance policy it will make all the difference in the world. But everything in the house is always covered on every policy from clothing to toys - all items..I pray they have rent covered or it is going to be tough.

If you think they have any specific urgent needs right now - post a list and maybe I can help and others too. Clothes - post sizes etc.

Can I add my husband Jason to the list? He had a seizure at work last Friday. After four days in the hospital and many tests, they still don't know why. But they did diagnose him with asthma or emphysema. He's going in for further tests on that verdict. But what caused the siezure is still unknown. For now he is to stay at home and not go anywhere, work, or drive.

Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear that. I will say extra special prayers today for you and Jason. I pray they find the CAUSE and get it taken care of.

Can he get medical leave pay from work? So the burden isn't totally on you?

so according to hubby, I apparently have single handedly ruined his Christmas. I don't know if it's because I complain about the utterly rude people out shopping, or because I'm in so much pain I can't take it, I had a flip out sitting on the floor wrapping and wrapping and wrapping... while he sat and wrote down what was what, but I could't even do that becuase I can't think straithght. and of course my legitimate comments about his family more on that later. I told him when we got into it last night, "you know, over at your mom's while your piecie of censored sister in law sits on her tiny little rear end, I'm i there setting the table, helping with the food AND cleaned the majority of the dishes so YOUR mom didn't have to. yeah, I'm an aweful person. . God I am so angry and hurt. Then half the stuff the kids got is crap, and even the good stuff they got, doesn't work right, makes me so mad, we don't have mney to spend on stuff, and we get a few choice things, and the lousy manufacturing....enough said. I'm just so tired of it all, I'm at my breaking point. I told him "I tell you how often I appreciate all you do, I even praise you in front of other people so you can hear it, and I even praise you behind your back" what more can I do. I do the best I can , I can't help I feel like I do, and Iknow it's hard on him, but if we get divorced, he's going to have to do it all on his own anyhow. This has been the worst Christmas ever , I'm holding back tears bigtime right now. I'm tired of being to blame for everything. Honestly I'd kill myself if I didn't have these precious kids. They are honestly the only thing that keeps me going, and truely, I don't think John would care if I was gone, he'd only care for the kids sake. No I'm not really going to do it, but just at a low point right now.

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie,

I am so sorry your Christmas was so awefull. You could always come fly down to see me, bring the kids I'll make room. I know that sounds tempting but i know moneys tight. Just an offer.

Maybe you could try to ignore the MIL for awhile, i mean when she calls kill her with kindness, while your punching a pillow, but tell her nicely " I'm so sorry but I'm so busy maybe next time". If that doesn't work then well..........PRAY!!!! I don't know what else to say except SORRY for your Christmas.

I love you and will call you today.
Krissy

  :sorry:

that's the thing Krissy, I do kill her with kindness. I bend over backwards for these people , jump thru hoops. she's fake, and I can see thru it, but of course her own son can't, nobody's kids can, usually. but she does it in a way that so many people can't see it, she's good. it's sad.

in fact, i can't remember if I already said this but when we got home I told hubby that if I "hate" his family so much, they why would I not be more like his lazy butt sister in law, and all the other women there, sitting on their butts doing whatever they do, instead I'm in the kitchen helping to cook the nasty oysters, and fish and all the other stuff nobody eats, and afterwards I DO ALL THE FREAKIN DISHES so HIS MOM DOESN"T HAVE TO! gee I"m nice. in fact I over did it so much, that I couldn't ONCE AGAIN enjoy CHristmas with MY family and help out with MY family becuase I over did it the night before and all I could do was lay on the couch at my mom's houes. real nice. but does he see that, no. I pray he does. I pray so hard he sees that I'm not some evil person and sees that out of every other family memeber, blood or not, I"m the one whose always doing special things for them.

Prayers Jaime...remember what I told you and recognize it:

Ephesians 6:12
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Hold your ground, remain loving that is how we win the attack against us.

Dana, that is so true, I have to remember that. It is the enemy trying to get at us. If only I could somehow get John to see that too. Please pray for him that he finds his way to our Lord. So that WE can bring our children up together in the way they should be. They are getting it, Kate LOVES Joyce, lol, she is so upset since the timechange that she doesn't get to see her as often, it used to be on when I'd put her to bed, and we'd lay together and watch it :)

Prayers are going up for all of you and Joyce often says when you are praying for someone they will get worse before they get better, because God is dealing w/them...makes sense right now.

Keep praying and waiting.

I heard a story of a woman who prayed like 60 years for her husband to turn to God...he finally did, long time I know, but keep praying.

I ordered my sons IGeneX test kit, got here today. I will send it out tomorrow. Please pray that the Lord only reveals the truth whether that is a Positive or a Negative. I just want the truth so I can help my baby. I hate to see him go thru all this suffering, it breaks my heart. Everyday is something else, stomach pains , leg pain, headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, anger and frustration.

Lord Please reveal the truth.
:prayer: :prayer: :prayer: :cross:

Thank you all for listening.
Love,
Krissy

Awe, Krissy, of course prayers are being said. It's bad enough we suffer, but when it comes to our babies, watch out for a mother's wrath! It's heartbreaking to see them hurt.

Molly- prayers said of course sweetie.

Dana- I know we've talked about this. I know how much stress this is putting on you too. I pray for Danny, this is just so odd, and scary. And for Paul too. I know the pain he's been in is just horrific. This disease is just something else.

Need prayers guys.

Let me start from the begining. I have a cousin who was born with a heart problem, had open heart surgery as a child. She was told she would never be able to have kids. She did...she had a healthy baby boy about 9 years ago. About 4 years ago, that baby boy was 5 years old and got what doctors kept calling the flu. They had him to the doctors and hospital about 4 times in a few day period, they kept saying "he's got the flu , he's fine, go home". Finally, the 5th time, they realized he was not doing good at all, and they life flighted him to a childrens hospital, he died en route. He had menengitis. As you can imagine the funeral was just aweful, we are all still torn up over it. Death is horrible for the living, but when it's an innocent young child, there are no words. I still remember it very clearly, his red hat, the toys in the entrance, and the rolling pin. The rolling pin was for my grandma, she was a baker, and taught us all how to bake. She passed the year before, ....

So, she got divorced, her husband left her basically, he wanted more kids.

Last night she had a heart attack, and is in a coma now. She is only in her early 40's. I feel terribly for her, she's had such a trying life. And she and her twin sister and just the kindest most gentle women you'd ever know. I know God works in mysterious ways, I wonder if he took Brandon first because it would be too much on a little 9 year old boy to see his mother like this. It's sounding as though she is going to be reunited with her little boy. Please pray for her and the family. It's just been one tradgedy after another for us.

thank you all.
love
j

Jaime,
After talking about this today, I am just so sad. We feel like we have been dealt a bad hand, but things like this really open ones eyes.

I have already prayed for your cousin.

Please make sure to keep us updated of her progress...

Love & prayers,
Dana

I know Dana, it really puts things in perspective. She has had such a rough life, and you'd never know it by looking at her, she is so kind and gentle. Just a very very sweet woman. Thank you for the prayers. They are much appreciated. WHen it comes down to it , bottom line, it's all we have. not "all" in a small way, but in a HUGE way. I mean, to actually be able to talk to God Himself, that is such an amazing thought.
love u much

Please continue to pray that my husband Joe finds a good job. He lost the job that he was working part time and was working full time after he lost his main job. Let's just say the industry is pretty corrupt - this is the Home Health Care Industry BTW.
In a few weeks we will go from poverty income to NO income and we're running pretty scared.

I am praying for a job that is pleasing to God, that Joe likes and that we can learn to live with whatever income the job provides.

I continue to pray for all of you - my prayer warriors. What would I do without you????

Jaime I also missed your post about your cousin. I am so sorry. As u know my son was stillborn @ 39 weeks. I could not imagine losing a child @ 5 years old. It was hard enough burying my infant yet alone having to bury a 5 year old. Your cousin probably had a heart attach from her bad heart but It was most likely due to a broken heart from the death of her son and from her husband being so selfish to leave her b/c he wanted more kids. Even years after you lose a child, now matter what age you NEVER truly get over it. The pain is always there even though it does subside over the years, it's still painful. Thru sickness and thru health, are those not vows. I have to remind my hubby of this once in awhile.

Please update us and let us know how she is doing and if she has already reunited with her son, b/c I'm so late posting this, I am truly sorry. :sadangel:

My heart goes out to her.
Love,
Krissy :cross:

Molly, I know I'm also late posting to u, but by now I hope that your hubby has found a job and if not, I pray that he does.

At my husbands job they have been firing people left and right. He is nervous about his job, he has been there for almost 5 years, but anything can happen. He is a GREAT employee, always on time, has fun, does all his work but you never know. I look at it this way if he does get fired it's all in GOD"S hands and I believe he will have a plan for us.

By 2 years from now, due to Road Home stipulations, we will leave this state and start over somewhere else. So hopefully he can hold on to his job till then. We are tired of evacuating every year for Hurricanes and we have rebuild this house once and we vow not to ever do it again. it was just to much.

God Bless your family and I hope and pray you all make it thru all this.

:jc: Krissy

P.S. My husband's name is Joe also. Funny Hugh.

Krissy: I will pray for your Joe, too.

The waiting is worse sometimes! My husband's second job that he started full time after the other job was eliminated turned out to be in a very corrupt industry. It was very tough on my husband as he wants to do the "correct" thing. In this case he had to leave the job. He will still get his unemployment and we are going to take advatage of the stimulus package that will pay 65% of our COBRA benefits.

It's going to take time but we'll all get through this. Both the illness and the economy. I continue to pray for us all.

oh Molly Im so sorry, but thank God for the stimulus to pat 65% of COBRA. I did read in the news that it takes awhile 4 the discount on COBRA, I will pray HARD that is is a fast process for you.

Dear Lord please pray :prayer: for my sister in Christ that her family recovers from all this tragedy. I pray for a speedy process with COBRA and for Molly's health and her family and that her husband Joe finds an excellent job. I ask these things in Jesus name. :jc:
AMEN

prayer said.
Love

My grandfather has been admitted to the critcal care unit at his local hospital for Double Pneumonia. He had just been released yesterday after a few days stay for having difficulty breathing. I'm not sure what they did for those few days ... all I know is that he's in the CCU. I saw him personally today. Went in and saw all his stats seemed good, but he was on fluids & oxygen. He was also on IV Levaquin & some other antibiotic that I had never heard of (can you believe that?). It started with a P but was not Penicillin.

He'll stay over night at least until the pulmonologist can come evaluate him again in the morning. It made me relive almost 9 years ago when my Granny was there. It appeared to be the exact CCU and maybe even the same room. I hate that room with a passion. :(

Please pray for all of us. Last time he got pneumonia the doctors said the next time could be his last time. They also said that they believe Pneumonia will be his cause of death when he does die. With everything that I've been through, I am fairly okay with death now. I know it's not the end, but just the beginning of a new life in Heaven. However, it doesn't mean I am ready for my Grandfather to leave yet.

He (and I believe through prayers and prayers alone) has pulled through the worst. :O As of noon (EDT), he was in the process of being moved from Critical Care to the regular floor. But that takes forever. Dad is going to keep me updated if anything extremely good or bad happens.

Now on to me .. I have a fever (not too high, but it's high for me). :( Also Ticks are back in season in North Carolina. Rob just found one crawling on him! Of course as soon as he told me .. I freaked ... and made him declothe and put all that mess in the washing machine by itself and pushed him in the shower. Edited to add: No ticks found attached. I just did a full tick check.

In my family, no news is good news. I've not heard anything since Sunday (neither has my brother).

Today's the day I go to congress.

Pray:

That God speaks through me to help the doctors that help us
That my coughing and snotty nose will cease long enough to look "well." (and if it doesn't .. I feel like I can use it to my advantage .. who would have thought two years ago that the main thing I'd be dealing with is .. a cold).

To all of you, I've not been on in a while, bad herxing going on. So I've missed some prayer requests. I have said prayers for all of you.

Jennifer, keep us updated.

As for my cousin, she is actually home now! Thank you all for the prayers, I really believe that was the only thing that got her thru this. They were going to put an artificial valve in her heart, but were able to repair her own, and put some sort of defibulater in too I guess. When she got home, the incision looked infected, why they didn't have her on preventative abx I don't know....and this is our lovely cleveland clinic, supposibly one of the best hospitals in the world.... they are usually good with heart stuff, but I have yet to meet a doc there that I liked even a bit. I've had several, and they've all been clueless.
anyhow, her mom took her to her regular doc after the weekend, and he put her on abx for the infection, and she seems to be doing well now. Her poor mother is I would guess in her 60's or 70's and is just exhausted, she was at the hospital the entire time, and of course went back to her house with her to take care of her.

prayer warriors , I like that.

Prayers are needed now more than ever.

1. My Grandfather is doing worse. :( His breathing had gotten better, but now it's worse again)
2. My body is not behaving since yesterday's walk at congress.

Thanks guys.

I just wanted to let you all know I've been up long hours of the night praying for all of you.

I also ask that you say prayers for me and my family. My pain is unbearable at this piont, I can't hardly walk thru the grocery store...came home , hub cleaned the house, which was sweet, but then my daughter said to me that daddy said "he's the only one who cleans the house" NOT TRUE in the slightest, so there's resentment going on here. I know it is hard to have such a sick spouse, but all the upsetment just doesn't help at all.

I pray we all get a miraculous healing from our Father above

Jaime, that's what makes this disease even harder. Not only do we have to prove ourselves over and over again that we're really sick, but everyone starts resenting us because we don't do our part. I know my kids picked different colleges so they'd still be close to home. My husband who is sick too, with God know what, is trying to support me and my kids, and he texts me from work how sick he is 100 times a day. Even though I know he's not trying to make me feel guilty, I do.

Prayers for my Mother In Law.

While I was on vacation, she stayed here. Guess what she found attached to her during her stay? Yep. A tick.

I've felt she had Lyme for a long time, but knowing what little she does know .. she knows that her doctor (who is also our regular doctor) would not do testing for Lyme. Well She found a tick. Well you & I know the best way to remove a tick, but my country bumpkin MIL just snatched it out with her hands. She's not even sure if she got it all out. Hubby talked to her into going to our regular doctor ASAP for a Lyme test. Since we think she's had it so long we are hoping the test will come back positive ... though she would never be able to see my LLMD. And no she didn't save the tick for testing (could you hear me screaming about how it all went down?)

So prayers that she did get all of the tick out and that our regular doctor will be willing to test (he should be .. they tested me) and treat if needed (that's where I am concerned.
