I'm finally being tested for co-infections. I gave my blood sample for an Igenex test (all co-infections) last Monday.

I never had a lot of obvious symptoms for co -infections but recently suspect Bartonella so I asked for the tests. I know how unreliable they can be so that's another reason I never really pursued it.

Please pray for accurate results!

Thanks so much.

Molly

Thanks, I will - I have an appt. in about three weeks but he said he'd call if anything outrageous shows up.

Thanks so much for the prayers.

Biaxin treats Bart, too, I've heard recently so I've been "treating" it for a while.

What does your Dr. say about Biaxin treating Bart?

YES! He said Biaxin kills Bart. On Canlyme (if I could find it) their is an article about the macrolides killing Bart, it is their FIRST choice. Erythromycin and Azithromycin are recommended BUT Biaxin is identical (only easier on the stomach) as erythromycin.

I have been on Biaxin now (because I can't off of it apparently) for over a 1.5 years, the macrolides also kill mycoplasma if used long term.

Thanks, Dana, I've been meaning to look this up and I keep forgetting.

I appreciate it.
