I am not kidding, I have been bitten at least 10 times this month by mosquitoes! This scares me...those blood suckers are full of disease and viruses..everytime I step outside with even my ankles showing they will find them!

I was in the garage the other day, one landed on my hand and I hit it - smashing it - blood splattered from that ugly creature all over my hand...I hope that was my own blood in that disgusting blood sucker and not some strangers! God help me! I washed immediately and used hand sanitizer 10 times.

Bites I usually swab with rubbing alcohol and then make an activated charcoal band aid to suck out any poisons. Danny laughs at all the band aids I have all over me (it is ridiculous looking! :injured: ) and then the a/c is hard to get off when you remove the band aid, rubbing alcohol removes it pretty good.

Say a prayer that all these bites I have are harmless..please.

Love,
Dana

Missy shall say a prayer!

And I am the same way. Literally the moment I go out side, its as if they just swarm around me its ridiculous! And then on top of it, I think I'm allergic to the bites because it swells up into a welt and is there for days on end! They hurt too! :weeping:

But any who! I hope that they are alright and nothing serious!
Missy is praying!!!! :jumpy:

:ghug:

Missy - there are some people that attract mosquitoes, I am one of them, my sister is one of them - she once said she could be in a room with a thousand people and one mosquito and it would find her..I am the same way! My husband NEVER gets bitten, ever. My bites form welts too..and they hurt and itch for days. Nasty creatures.

Jaime - I was just wondering earlier why God created, flies, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and many other (what seem to be) useless creatures. Maybe He can tell us one day when we "go home" the reason...it will be my first question!!

My dad once said it all when he said, "Insects are the most destructive and harmful creatures known to man". Yes, I believe I know...

My daughter is a mostquito magnet! In a crowd she will be the only one who will get bit. She even got bit in Italy.

Then the bites last for months. Sometimes they swell and she can be a real mess.

Jamie- Haha yes I love that word too! I'm not sure when i started saying it or how i picked it up but have jest said it for years! lol

Dana- Oh believe me I am too one of those people! And summer time here is nothing but rain everyday, so it just attracts more! And poor little Missy just gets beat up by the mosquito's! I want to go watch the fire works on the 4th, but unfortunately I'll come home covered in bites! I don't know if I'm willing to take that chance being sick! :|

I like to sit outside in the eve w/my dogs...here it is summer and I am wearing sweat pants, socks, shoes and a long sleeved shirt!

I am not kidding if one tiny bit of skin is showing that mosquito will find it. I wore sandals one night, got my heels!

I wonder why some of us attract mosquitoes more than others..I think it has to do with scent..we must smell like lunch! Which I am sure is a lovely scent!! :D
