THIS IS A MUST READ!

My LLMd has brought up to me several times Low Dose Naltrexone...has anyone tried this? I decided to research.

I have found other LD patients using this in very low doses at bedtime 3-5mg and it builds the immune system and improves fatigue, pain and more.

MS patients have used it for years - it sounds very interesting...check this out:

EDIT: See my post below with videos and more info...this sounds amazing. It is by prescription at compound pharmacies and it stops disease progression by stimulating the immune system.

where do I sign up? lol. is this the same as methadone? I'm illiterate right now. It sounds like a miracle really. I'm so sure that there are things out there already that can help us, just like this, but so many docs don't bleive

Any advice given by me, is just that, advice. I am not a medical doctor, and I suggest you talk to your doctor about any concerns.

No it isn't like methadone, this is non-narcotic - it is a prescription that was created to be used in (much larger doses than we'd use) for those addicted to heroine. It would help them get off of it, by blocking the effects of it.

It stops disease progression of many disease inclduing cancer by stimulating the immune system, which is unheard of. Here is a news report at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EodqDy1DxoE

More videos at you tube, read the you tube comments from people using it! I mean it this sounds amazing, why aren't LLMD's everywhere prescribing this? Dr. B has always been ahead of his time. I guarantee in a year LD patients will be on this more and more, Dr. B always seems to be ahead of every other LLMD by a year:

Watch some of these...I mean it this sounds too good to be true.

So here is my question, does it block narcotic pain medications? It says in some places yes, but at drugs.com it reads it only block "injected" morphine or heroine. I would think 2-3 mg wouldn't have much effect on pain medications, since "addicts" are using 50mg+, something to ask the doctor about. Even if it blocked the pain meds somewhat and LDN worked BETTER it would be a Godsend!

Jaime read the testimonials below...this stuff sounds amazing.

I talked with a woman (lyme patient) who said it is great and worked wonders for her. It also now listed at lymeinfo.net at the bottom under " Innovative Meds" : http://www.lymeinfo.net/alt.html ALSO in a Lyme Disease book: http://www.lymebook.com/lyme-disease-lo ... rexone-ldn AND a conference about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kclMin66Sf4

I could go on all day with links.

Make sure to ask your LLMD too about it or your "fibro" doctor, one of them might know more.

It has no severe side effects either, some report a little troubling sleeping only the first week and vivid dreams, but unlike other drugs it builds the immune system...sounds like a miracle drug. I really want to try it. The dose is so small you have to buy it at a compound pharmacy, McGuff has it.

Here are some testimonials about it:

Here is what others are saying about LDN:

1. I believe the most important Treatment that currently exists for Multiple Sclerosis is: LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone. My wife started LDN almost four years ago and has never had another exacerbation or further progression of her MS. Directly or indirectly I have helped hundreds of people start using LDN and 99 out of 100 people have had the same miraculous results. In 10 years I have never heard of any good results received from the use of FDA-approved MS drugs, so please do yourself a favor and start taking LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone.

2. She decided to try the drug last April. "The first thing I noticed, lying in bed, was that the numbness in my back had improved," she said. Stiffness and fatigue also began to fade and — a particular milestone — she managed to complete her daughter's student loan forms, all 14 pages. "This morning I have got up, worked on my computer, cooked and tidied up," she said. "In a short while we are going to go out. Prior to taking low dose Naltrexone I could not do anything before late morning."

3. One MS sufferer, a businessman from CoGalway, said he switched from Beta Interferon to LDN in early August and since then has experienced "a dramatic difference" in health. "It got rid of my fatigue and my joint pain, and also removed weakness in my lower limbs," he said. "I can now work a full day and enjoy more time with my children, and life in general."

4. "It is pretty amazing what [LDN] does...I wake up in the morning with energy. Last year, I was taking time off work, my body shook and I couldn't stand without supporting myself. Now I'm running a little and teaching. It's unbelievable."
