Dear Dana, I have been reading a bit on the forum the last few days. I am just getting pieces of what has been going on with you and heth and Danny and Jennifer and Jaime.

For my own sake I try to stay away a little bit, I am working on the best attitude I can get with this disease, although it is hard, seeing Tristen slip back, fighting with the insurance, watching Alicia struggle with it. Being of a depressed background I will make my health worse. But I want you to give my email to anyone who wants it. And if they need to talk I am willing to be there for them. I don't want you to think I am sticking my head in the sand. I am just trying to get through day after day. I think about you all often and hope that everyone of use will get where we are going to.

Please write back and tell me where you are at in your recovery and how Danny is feeling, as well I hope Heth is surviving.

I am doing much better than I thought I would. And I am on all my stuff and just trying to get healthier. And trying to keep worry out of my mind.

Love to you all
Michelle :console:

Michelle, I know what you mean when you say you have to stay away a little bit. I've felt that way at times too. This Lyme thing gets heavy at times. And a posiiitive attitude is a must! Just this morning again I looked at what I think is important in my life...God, family and friends!!! [That's why I'm here at this forum. You all are my friends and important to me.] And thats what I focus on, the important things. It's not how long you live, it's how well you live that counts.

I had my de-tox bath this morning. I took a devotional book and two others with me. I came ouy refreshed and inspired! I kissed my niece and nephew this morning. Hugged my 15 year old son for the longest time, and had quite a nice debate with him. Loved up on my 8 year old and made our favorite breakfast! Haven't caught my youngest yet or my oldest daughter...so much life to live!! :console:

Hi Michelle,
I hope you check back. I am still on Bicillin and doing ok at this point.

Danny has had a remarkable turn around in the last few days, which I will be posting about soon.

I understand your need to not "immerse" yourself in this disease, as our lives are already immersed enough. But I have learned that posting and whether it be a crying post for help or an inspiring one it helps so much to "release" and that is what support is about.

I personally have studied LD now for about 10 hours a day - 7 days per week for 2 years...I've decided I pretty much have read all I can and know just about everything that is important. I have backed way down on study.

But I made a decision years ago in my darkest hours my life calling was found, this was now my path - to teach - to reach - to preach - to help (and even get support from others when I need it too). But my life from now on until my dying breath will be to help/educate others, I will be immersed everyday in it, well or sick.

It is important to have those around you that understand and can help you through, that is my reason for developing this forum - for those who have questions, fears, vents anything LD related. I WANT people to post when they are sick and tired of this, I WANT people to let it out here, because we have been there and the support from this "loving forum family" is everything we need to help us get through this.

I hope you are doing well...I hope you don't stay away for long.

We are always here for you!

Much love,
Dana

Dear Michelle,

When you feel the 'weight of it', come and just talk to us as you are able. We want to know how you, Alicia, Tristan and your dear family are doing.

I understand what you are saying. I am praying for the love of our Father to be your Rock. Truly.

Heth is doing well right now. We believe the acupuncture is helping although we are just beginning to grasp in what ways. It is still too new to us. We have heard encouraging and remarkable stories. She has had three pain free days. Cognitively, it is tough; but better than the 6 or 7 weeks ago when we can now share she had one bad relapse of Bartonella. The blend that Dr. B. 'concocted' kicked hard on top of what was already a freight train. Obviously, once again very effective.

The hope and the encouragement is that right now and for the past three days, the pain is gone; the brain....well, it is too actually;but better than a week ago. Cognitive impairment is tough and frustrating. We hope for the day...

I share this to encourage you. These times will come with proper care. It is hard to rest when there is so much to do, to care for, to balance, to navigate.

I am sorry that depression presses in. I do understand. It is a spiritual battle on all fronts. The Lord loves you with His everlasting love. I will be praying that when the flood tries to come, that you will be aware of Jesus in you and with you and that your heart will turn and run to Him so that you can experience His presence even more fully during broken times.

Thank you for asking about Heth when you have much of your own to navigate.

Do you see my email address up there somewhere? Feel free anytime.
With love in Christ,
Diana

Isaiah 43
1 But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

3 For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush [a] and Seba in your stead.

4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give men in exchange for you,
and people in exchange for your life.

5 Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
and gather you from the west.

6 I will say to the north, 'Give them up!'
and to the south, 'Do not hold them back.'
Bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the ends of the earth-

7 everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made."

8 Lead out those who have eyes but are blind,
who have ears but are deaf.

9 All the nations gather together
and the peoples assemble.
Which of them foretold this
and proclaimed to us the former things?
Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right,
so that others may hear and say, "It is true."

10 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD,
"and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.

11 I, even I, am the LORD,
and apart from me there is no savior.

12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "that I am God.

13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he.
No one can deliver out of my hand.
When I act, who can reverse it?"

14 This is what the LORD says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
"For your sake I will send to Babylon
and bring down as fugitives all the Babylonians, [b]
in the ships in which they took pride.
15 I am the LORD, your Holy One,
Israel's Creator, your King."

16 This is what the LORD says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,

17 who drew out the chariots and horses,
the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:

18 "Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.

19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.

20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the desert
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,

21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.

22 "Yet you have not called upon me, O Jacob,
you have not wearied yourselves for me, O Israel.

23 You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings,
nor honored me with your sacrifices.
I have not burdened you with grain offerings
nor wearied you with demands for incense.

24 You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me,
or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices.
But you have burdened me with your sins
and wearied me with your offenses.

25 "I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.

26 Review the past for me,
let us argue the matter together;
state the case for your innocence.

27 Your first father sinned;
your spokesmen rebelled against me.

28 So I will disgrace the dignitaries of your temple,
and I will consign Jacob to destruction [c]
and Israel to scorn.
