Here are 2 quick videos to show you how small a tick is and why many of us don't remember a bite:

AND

This is something you may want to show your family - when out in your yard or outdoors at all, check your body as much as possible.

yeah, my one of my friends had one on her in the spring... she actually put it into a plastic bag, brought it over to me, you could barely see it. I told her to send it to igenix of course... she had taken it with her to her regular doctor who said it was not a tick... if you looked closely, you could see the legs, it was a nymph for sure, but she was texting me from the docs office, saying they wanted to send it for thier own testing , I said absolutly NOT, in fact, call me and put your stupid doctor on the phone and I WILL tell her a peice of my mind, lol. I was livid thru this whole thing, everything played out exactly as I told her it would, next stop was an ID doc... haha..

she did send to igenix, they said yes it was a tick, she only had it tested for Bb, and it was negative, but I told her there are SO many other things it could have, even more than what's on the "basic" tests... to keep her eyes open.

of course, she is already dx with fibro for many years, but I can't seem to get it thru her head what is really going on... her complaints are classic... most the people I talk to in my 3D life are like this... so I just pretty much quite... hey if you don't want to help yourself, I'm not going to bend over backwards trying to get you to.

I spent HOURS and hundreds of papers and the rest of my printer cartridge on this whole ordeal, just to have her basically never read the info I printed for her, I know because she would keep asking me the most basic stuff... which was printed out in that at least 10 times! ugh..

Any advice given by me, is just that, advice. I am not a medical doctor, and I suggest you talk to your doctor about any concerns.

One of the reasons I found this video is because we caught what we think is a nymph in our backyard, I have it in a small jar.

Ticks always have 8 legs - do a leg count first. They don't jump or fly, only crawl. What we have is either a very tiny spider or a nymph, it is hard to say when they are this small, they look a lot like tiny spiders, they are from the arachnid family.
Yeah, you can't convince anyone of LD. No one could have convinced me either 10 years ago that migraines and vertigo could be lyme.

Believe me I've been thinking of those tiny little things!

I was in Northern Michigan this week on vacation - where there are ticks and known Lyme Disease - I was ever so careful!!
