Post subject:  Lyme Disease misdiagnosed as Parkinsons

Lyme Disease as proven many times to be misdiangosed as Parkinsons there are many people who claim this.

In the "Under our Skin" documentary is a "gifted" baseball player that is diagnosed w/Parkinsons. Lyme is suggested and he is angry saying, "I have the best doctor's, they know I have Parkinson's" until he was proven wrong and tested - he had LD and now is well.

Parkinson's like, ALS, MS, Lupus and the list goes on is very hard to diagnose and there are no definitive tests to prove it. It is a process of elimination and then based on symptoms. Doctor's NEVER consider Chronic Lyme (due to them being highly illiterate to Lyme) as a diagnosis, EVER.

A woman at Youtube tells of her recovery from Lyme Disease, her name, Michelle. She said she didn't know for a long time (surprise!) she didn't know what was wrong, actually she thought MS. Then a friend who was diagnosed with Parkinson's for 10 years told her it was lyme not MS. He was treated and recovered. She tested for LD, was treated and recovered.

These stories are all too common and if you have had a Parkinsons diagnosis, it woud not hurt to be tested through Igenex to make sure you absolutely have the right diagnosis. If not...you CAN get well.

Parkinsons/Lyme: Lyme disease remains a controversial, clinical diagnosis, with false negatives and false positives, dozens of physical and neurological symptoms, and a penchant for mimicking other maladies such as fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and Lou Gehrig's disease: http://www.boston.com/news/globe/living ... diagnosed/
